What's on at The Columbian

Live music is the staple downstairs at McGowan Hall. One night is on the calendar every single month, and more are being planned.

    CP3 play two hours of jazz on the first Friday of every month, with the bar open the whole time. Sit up close to the band or back at the bar.

What the room books

In Jacob's words, "anything that's like a performance." Here is what that has meant so far.

Jazz

The monthly jazz night was running down here before The Columbian had its name.

Country

A country band has already played the room. Fifty seats and a bar suit a band that talks to its crowd between songs.

Cabaret

Singers and a seated audience close enough to feel part of the act.

Your act

If it is a show and it works for fifty people sitting down, ask Jacob.
