The Columbian books live music first: country, cabaret, jazz, and in Jacob's words, "anything that's like a performance." It is a small room on purpose.

The room from the stage side
- A seated audience of up to fifty, at tables
- No stage. Bands play at floor level in the corner, right in the room
- A house sound system
- The full bar is in the room during the show
- The room is on the lower level, so gear comes down a flight of stairs. There is no elevator
- A 65-space lot on site at 1305 N Delaware St
Ask Jacob what the sound system covers and when you can load in before you pack the van.
What kind of act fits
A country band and a cabaret night have already played the room, and the jazz night runs on the first Friday of every month. If your act works for fifty people sitting down with a bar at the side, it fits.
Acts that talk to the audience between songs do well here, because there is nowhere in the room that is far from the band. If you need a dance floor for four hundred, that is the Grand Hall upstairs, and Jacob books that too.
