What comes with the room
Your block is six or twelve hours between 9am and midnight, and decorating and clearing up happen inside it.

- One bartender for up to five hours
- The full service bar, in the room
- We put the furniture away at the end of the night
- Your own caterer, with no food or drink minimum
- No outside alcohol anywhere on the property

Private nights in The Columbian are booked the same way as every other room in the building: through McGowan Hall, where this room is listed as the Bar Lounge. That is also where the bar packages, the deposit and the payment schedule are set out.

The way down is stairs only
The Columbian is on the lower level. There is no elevator in the building and no accessible restroom on that level. If a guest cannot manage stairs, the Grand Hall upstairs is wheelchair accessible along with its main floor restrooms, and McGowan Hall books that room too.
